Live-In Program Overview and Frequently Asked Questions

Contact us at (501)525-4361 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The Live-In Program was established to staff our Main Station with Firefighters and First Responders.

The purpose of the Live-In program is to provide 24/7 staffing to serve our community. The Live-in Program is designed to ensure firefighters/first responders, and apparatus are responding to emergencies in a more timely manner. This inherently increases our effectiveness on scene, saving lives and property.

A small deposit is the only personnel cost associated with the Live-In program, with all of the benefits of a normal apartment. Water, power, and trash services are included in the program.

The benefits to the community are immeasurable. The benefits to the firefighter are not having to pay rent or utilities. Staffing is usually outside of normal business hours and on the weekends.
