We want to welcome Firefighter Trent Powell! (April 2025)
Trent was born in Iowa and moved to Arkansas at a young age, where he later graduated from Lake Hamilton High School. Answering the call of duty, he proudly served in the U.S. Army, where his commitment to public service began.
Today, Trent works as a Technician at Futrell Marine, utilizing his skills to contribute to the company while continuing his dedication to his community. His passion for service extends beyond his career—Trent is an active member of the Lake Hamilton Fire Department.
An avid outdoorsman, Trent enjoys spending time in nature and cherishes every opportunity to be with his family. Above all, he is a proud father to his daughter and deeply values the time spent with loved ones.
We want to welcome Firefighter Mickey Brenner! (February 2025)
Mickey was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and moved to Florida with his parents as a young child. He lived in Florida for many years, where he owned and operated a successful pressure washing and paver sealing business. Mickey was a firefighter with Hillsborough County Fire and Rescue for 20 years.
His decision to become a firefighter was inspired by a life-changing experience at the age of four, when he was involved in a serious car accident and had to be rescued from the vehicle by a firefighter. That moment left a lasting impression on him and sparked a lifelong desire to give back to his community and help others, just as someone once helped him.
In 2025, Mickey relocated to Hot Springs, Arkansas, with his wife, Sandy, and their son, Camden.
In his free time, Mickey enjoys spending quality time with his family.
We want to welcome Firefighter Parker Cozart! (January 2025)
Parker is originally from Hot Springs and graduated from Benton High School after relocating to Benton when he was 14 years old. After graduating from high school, Parker moved back home to Hot Springs.
From a very young age, he wanted to be a firefighter. His goal is to become a career firefighter. His first step towards that goal was joining Lake Hamilton Fire.
Parker currently works in construction and is one of six live-in firefighters at Lake Hamilton Fire.
Parker enjoys the outdoors. He likes to golf, fish, hunt, and to go camping.
We want to welcome Firefighter Timmy Rushing! (April 2024)
Timmy was born in Texarkana, TX, and moved to the Hot Springs area when he was 14. He currently lives with his mother and stepfather who is a military veteran. Timmy also has an older sister and brother.
After graduating from Arkadelphia High School, Timmy worked in the oil fields in Texas. There he found a sense of hard work and camaraderie that will continue into the fire service. His goal is to become a career firefighter.
Timmy loves to hunt, fish, and spend time with his girlfriend (pictured).
We would like to welcome Firefighter Chris Fee! (March 2024)
Chris was born in Saline County and went to Bryant High School. Growing up, he spent summers at his family’s lake house on Lake Hamilton.
In 2004, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served 9 years in the Infantry with two deployments to Iraq.
In 2019, he and his wife, Aubrey, moved back to Arkansas and settled in Garland County.
Chris spends his free time going to the gym, riding his horse, and golfing. He is excited to be part of a team again and looks forward to serving our community.
We would like to welcome Firefighter Frederick "Ricky" Galego! (January 2024)
Ricky joined Lake Hamilton in January 2024. He lives in Diamondhead with his parents, sister, and grandmother (pictured). His number one role model is his father. Ricky is a family-oriented, grassroots, individual.
Ricky began his life in public service at 14 when he joined the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) and served in CAP for 5 years. Ricky currently works at Walmart.
He joined the fire service to gain as much knowledge as he could and become a part of something bigger than himself. He hopes to one day become a career firefighter.
Ricky enjoys taking long walks in the evening and thrifting with his sister. He wants to get married one day and start a family.
We would like to welcome Firefighter Robert Pinter! (September 2023)
Robert moved to Hot Springs to join our live-in program. He says he heard good things about Lake Hamilton Fire and our live-in program!
Robert was adopted from Guatemala at age 2 by his parents. He lived in Little Rock for 18 years and relocated to Morrilton recently.
Robert enjoys working out, spending quality time with his family, talking to his girlfriend on the phone and helping out with his old high schools wrestling practices.
Robert says he joined the fire service because he has always respected those who risked their lives helping others and to give back to the community.
We would like to welcome Probationary Firefighter Cooper Brooks! (June 2023)
Cooper has lived in Hot Springs his whole life. His mom is a school teacher at Lake Hamilton. His dad is a retired firefighter with the Hot Springs Fire Department.
Cooper’s hobbies include fishing, hunting, camping, spending time with his family and girlfriend, really anything outdoors.
Cooper joined Lake Hamilton Fire Department to help and serve the community while gaining the training and knowledge to follow in his dads footsteps by hopefully getting hired full time by the Hot Springs Fire Department. Coopers
Dad has been his motivation since he was a child and he has always wanted to be just like him. Seeing how the fire service has impacted his dads life gave Cooper the passion to join the fire service and make it his career.
We would like to welcome Probationary Firefighter Garrett Biggers! (June 2023)
Garrett has lived in the Hot Springs area all his life and his family has owned Hot Springs Tire & Auto since 2003. He is married to his best friend and high school sweetheart Sadie. Garrett Enjoys learning new skills, going to church, white water kayaking, going on the lake, playing sports and spending quality time with his wife and family. Additionally, he says he is an adrenaline junkie.
Garrett says he joined the fire service because he loves helping people and he has always had a great respect for people willing to lay down their lives for the protection of others. He says he is glad he joined LHFD because he wants to help protect his community and he enjoys being a brother on the team! Garrett is also a National Registered EMT.
